Building Regulations Full Plans - This is where an application with detailed drawings is submitted and approved before building works start. When construction starts a building control office will insect the works at various stages to ensure full compliance with the regulations. Building Notice - Building works can start without drawings. Party Wall Act If your proposed work is located near to a neighbouring building or your construction work affects a shared wall then you will be required by law to comply with the Party Wall Act.
