Gas Safe replaces old Corgi system

From the 1st April 2009 all works involving gas installations and appliances must be carried out by a gas engineer registered with the Gas Safe scheme. This replaces the old Corgi scheme which is now no longer the legal authority for gas fitters and engineers.

All registered gas engineers now carry a Gas Safe card that specifies the nature of the work that they are qualified to carry out on the work. Do not put yourself and your family at risk by using unqualified engineers.

Visit the Gas Safe website for additional information and to check a gas engineers registration.
